The Cheshire Light Hardwood Dowel is a cylindrical rod, made of light hardwood. It can be cut into dowel pins and used as structural reinforcements in numerous applications, such as furniture support, curtain poles, support for hanging items, also general furniture making. Dowels keep the joints at a correct position, thus preventing any misalignment between the parts.
Our Cheshire Light Hardwood Dowel is both a lightweight and strong timber moulding that is easy to work with and has a good, natural lustre. Because of its strength to weight ratio and relatively inexpensive price the light hardwood dowel is a perfect choice for a wide range of decorative applications.
