Our hex-head coach screws are heavy duty screws, manufactured from steel, to offer improved corrosion resistance and strength. They have a hexagonal head, engineered to be used with a socket or spanner, and an externally threaded cylindrical shaft to create a strong hold and to avoid wood splitting.
Use & Application:
These hex-head coach screws are widely used for heavy duty applications, for instance:
- Used for holding together heavy timber, especially at critical joins in construction due to their sturdiness and strength
- Used for fixing heavy items to masonry or brickwork – wall plugs required to use with the coach screw
