HardieBacker is a type of cement board that is predominantly used for tile and stone applications and as a substitute for plasterboard for tiling floors, bathrooms, and masonry walls. We recommend using a 6mm HardieBacker Cement Backerboard for the floor and a 12mm HardieBacker Cement Backerboard for the wall.

Use & Application

HardieBacker 6mm is perfect for use in wet rooms and in conjunction with underfloor heating. Areas, where HardieBacker would fit perfect, are:
