Product Information

Fire rated plasterboard consists of an aerated gypsum core with glass fibre and other additives that are designed to withstand or endure fire. The additional fire protection properties above standard boards allow the plasterboard to be used in systems where more rigorous fire protection is mandatory.

Use & Application

12.5 mm Fire Resistant Plasterboard is use in drylining applications, wall lining and ceiling systems where increased fire protection is necessary. Fire plasterboard can be used in applications that require direct mechanical attachment to wood or metal.
